Welcome to the Vancouver BC Stake Relief Society & Events

We have been the Vancouver Stake Relief Society Presidency since April 2026.

Sharlene Hatch: My name is Sharlene Hatch, and I am so excited to serve the sisters in the Vancouver stake. I married Danny Hatch in 2005. We are the parents of five children: one is currently serving a mission in Brazil, another is preparing to serve, and three are still at home.

I have always had a passion for learning. I earned an Associate degree from BYU-Idaho and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from BYU. My love of cultures was cultivated by living in diverse places, including Washington D.C., Morocco, New York City, Houston, and my current home in the Vancouver area.

For the past six years, I have been teaching Shakespeare, coaching acting skills, and directing plays. I am truly excited to get to know and serve the sisters in the stake, and to help cultivate a community rooted in Christlike love, faith, and sisterhood.

Paola Rodrigues: I am originally from Mexico and have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since my conversion in 2001.

My husband and I have been blessed with three children, ages 22, 20, and 18. We also have a cousin who has lived with us since he was 15, and we consider him one of our own.

We live in Coquitlam and have attended the Poco Ward for the past 17 years.

From the moment the missionaries taught me about the Plan of Salvation and that families can be together forever, I knew I had found the truth and wanted to become part of it. I shared what I had learned with my then-boyfriend, and together we have strived to build our lives on the gospel of Jesus Christ ever since.

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I love Relief Society because both have transformed my life and helped me become a better disciple of the Savior. I see the gospel as the Lord’s revealed word, and Relief Society as one of the organizations that helps bring those teachings to life through faith, service, and ministering.

I had the privilege of serving in the previous stake Relief Society presidency, and I have recently been called to serve again in this new presidency. I look forward to getting to know the sisters throughout our stake more personally, learning from one another, and growing together as we serve and strive to become more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Claire Yuan: Claire Yuan currently serves as the Second Counselor in the Stake Relief Society Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is passionate about strengthening faith in Jesus Christ, ministering with compassion, and helping sisters draw closer to the Savior through service, learning, and meaningful relationships.

Born in China, Claire moved to Canada with her family at the age of 11 and grew up in the Burnaby Wah Yan Ward. She earned a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Houston. Professionally, she works in financial planning, where she enjoys educating, mentoring, and helping individuals and families achieve their goals.

Claire loves studying the scriptures, teaching the gospel, and serving others. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside faithful leaders and sisters and strives to follow the Savior’s example of love, kindness, and Christlike ministering.

Andréanne Dussault Trim: I’m Andréanne Dussault Trim. I grew up in Montreal with goodly parents who taught me to love the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

In Montreal, I graduated with a DEC Diploma in 3D Animation and CGI and have since been given the opportunities to work on various film and television shows. I love how stories shape our lives and am grateful to be part of the creative process. 

A few years ago, I moved to Vancouver for work. It’s here at the Burnaby building that I met my husband at the YSA conference. I then moved to Calgary (where my husband is from) and got married last August. I missed Vancouver so much that we chose to move back here. Vancouver truly holds a special place in my heart. 

Having spent my life in the church I’ve held various callings, I love the relief society and what it stands for. I believe every calling is important and am excited to help the sisters in the Vancouver stake fulfill theirs.
